sachets are used to make a nasal wash solution. Nasaline sachets contain high purity pharmaceutical grade (USP Grade) sodium chloride (salt) and sodium bicarbonate (soda) in appropriate proportions. The resulting solution can be adjusted isotonic or hypertonic according to our needs, has a specific pH to avoid chemical burns, does not contain iodine, additives or preservatives and is specially formulated for nasal washes. The use of Nasaline salt for use with the Nasaline Nasal Wash System is recommended instead of the usual iodine cooking salt, as the iodine contained in table salt can cause allergic reactions. It is also not recommended to use seawater, which may be contaminated, contain pollen or algae. Each sachet produces 250 ml of isotonic solution or two sachets in 250 ml of hypertonic solution.
